The Centre for Ministry Development (CMD) values your financial support and partnership with us. CMD recognises the honour that ministry is, the extraordinary strengths of those called to it, and the need for input in order to function at higher levels. It provides theologically informed programs, workshops and services with experienced facilitators, using evidence based best practice. Your donations will assist with administration, and support for those in ministry having access to the services we provide. If you’d like to discuss areas of current need, please contact the Centre for Ministry Development.

CMD believes all churches and church leaders deserve support. However, many churches do not have sufficient budget to fund development, support or consultancy. This fund enables CMD to provide support and development to churches which do not have the budgets to fund their development or support.
Give NowThe Developing Rectors Program is a two year program to assist a Rector to understand their new role and develop the skills and experience to be able to lead and serve their church community. The program costs $6,000 per year ($12,000 in total) and includes a boot camp, 2 year curriculum, mentoring and the support of a cohort of peers. This fund enables us to support Rectors without sufficient funds to join this program.
Give NowThe ministry role is extraordinarily challenging and we recognise that this is certainly true for the many female ministers across the Sydney Diocese. This fund enables CMD to support female ministers with personal support, training and ongoing development – particularly when there is insufficient budget.
Give NowThe Rector role is extraordinarily challenging and we recognise that all Rectors need ongoing training in theologically robust ministry, church leadership and management, as well as personal support. This fund enables us to offer support to Rectors who are unable to fund this support and ongoing development.
